I've been sort of meaning to post about these, and I've mostly forgotten, but omg. GUYS. We have the BEST Christmas dinnerware EVEEEER in Target right now. I am not even sure why I love these so much, but I really do: SO CUTE!

AND THERE'S A MATCHING SHEET SET! I could cover the futon and be all decorat-y! :O I seriously want to decorate for Christmas this year. ::diiiiies::

If you like the more serious and less kiddie side of things, there's also a really nice porcelain snowflake set that I also like, but am not crazy over.

OH, OH, and this penguin latte mug!!!

Guys, screw Halloween, is it Christmas yet? :D I feel like such a little kid this year. :D :D

Also, A Christmas Story is on sale at Target now, but it's some special edition and costs 19.99, and it will obviously be playing on Christmas on SOME channel. Still, it is A CHRISTMAS STORY, hello, and I know SOMEPEOPLE ::cough:: have never seen it, so should I bother? I really wish I could find it cheaper than that... maybe on ebay or something. hm.

In other random news, after months of not trying I applied for a promotion at work. Wish me luck! It'll be a while until I hear anything about it, though. We'll see.

ANOTHER AWESOME THING:
The box of Unicorn decorations for the party came in. :D They are SWEET, and

barbed_whispers and I fangirled the custom magnet we got for ourselves. >.>

The date is definitely November 11th, which is a Sunday, and we're planning on running from about 1pm-10pm. So consider this another helpful, poking reminder that it will be made of win, and you should definitely attend. :)

(I'm considering doing actual invitations for this, though a lot of them would probably be delivered through email or something. Good idea? Bad? Who cares?)

haha, you know what's funny is I'm all O.O about my friend never having seen A Christmas Story, but I've never seen It's a Wonderful Life. >.> Oops?

i know this will come as a complete and total shock, but i have never seen It's A Wonderful Life EITHER. which put me at a SERIOUS disadvantage when playing the It's A Wonderful Life boardgame.

yeah, my family- who all apparently LOVE this movie- decided to play it at christmas one year. i was just kidding about the disadvantage though, cos either the game is crazy hard or my family is full of morons. we quit after about ten minutes. (i was the only one who got my trivia question right! and then i mocked them all, and then they quit playing. GOOD TIMES.)

(this probably had a lot to do with why christmas is now all gambling, hah.)

dinoland, for sega. it's a pinball game. WITH DINOSAURS. my grandmother thinks we should buy a sega so we can play dinoland. i think she missed out on the fight though.

besides which, no one REALLY wants a sega

yeah, dinoland is really the only game i ever really liked. well, i always liked WATCHING that one sonic game, but i hated playing it.

I don't really like Sonic, heh. though apparently there's a MMPR game?! want that! not worth the system, though.

watching someone who is good play some of the higher sonic levels can be pretty fun. but the other games my grandmother has all kind of suck.
