I was never aware of patterns until recently, so that's a head start you have on me :P I'm still learning the patterns, since I haven't been doing it for that long yet. My dad always complains about coke because there's almost never coupons for it, but there were a bunch of peelie coupons for $1 off 2 on the 12-packs in my Publix a couple days ago.
The Sunday paper is nice for extras and the occasional thing that is paper-only, but a lot of the coupons in the paper are also available to print somewhere online. That's why the site is so ridiculously helpful to me, because she links to all of the available coupons for every product that's on sale in the ad... so 95% of your research time is done for you.
