My user name is getaway_machine because I really like that Melissa Etheridge song. I could say something about how it's cute because the internet is my "getaway" or something, and that does amuse me sometimes, but it's not actually the reason, so whatever.
My journal is titles "this is the story of a girl" because.. well, it is. It's my story, right? And I enjoy the song as well, so yeah.
My subtitle is "cried a river and drowned the whole world" because it goes with the title. :P So interesting, I'm sure.

barbed_whispers made it for me after the quote was made in shoeboxproject because in our demented universe, I am Remus. And, also, because I like to abuse commas when I write fic. A lot.
