I wasn't tagged for this, but I felt like doing it anyway, SO THERE! ::defies meme rules::
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 4-7 sentences on your LJ along with these instructions.
5.Don'tyou dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! Iknow you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest(unless it's too troublesome to reach and is really heavy. Then go backto step 1).
6. Tag five people.
From In the Hand of the Goddess by Tamora Pierce:
"I tell him I feel like a fool, and he tells me it's better to be a fool who's considerate than a fool who isn't. But if I really talk to a lady--or Gary or Raoul--for a bit, he gets angry! He says I mustn't lead the ladies on, and he accuses me of flirting with Gary and Raoul in the same breath!" Alanna sat down and gulped her tea, surprised at how words had tumbled out of her.
"You seem rather angered with Prince Jonathan," Mistress Cooper observed.
----
There. WOOO ALANNA. Though I said I was going to finish the second one last night, and... didn't. Oops? I'll definitely finish it today, though, I'm almost done with it. And is it possible to love George any more than I already do?
Alright, it probably is, but seriously. Seriously. So much love for him.
AND WHEN HE KISSED ALANNA?! MORE THAN ONCE?! You guys. I don't know if I have ever wanted to be a fictional character more than I did in that first kiss scene. Seriously. I am a little bit pathetic.
